This is one of my favorite books of those that I've written.  It was the first of thirteen books of mine edited by the wonderful and legendary editor Margaret K. McElderry.  THE LITTLE SHIPS has also been published in Korean and in Japanese and is also published in the U.K. by Frances Lincoln Books.
